OUR STORY & FOUNDING PURPOSE

Why NexArc RISE Was Established

Bridging bilateral opportunities in education, research innovation, and youth career pathways between Japan and India.

NexArc RISE was established in Japan in 2025 as a non-profit organization (NPO) and expanded its presence in 2026 through an affiliated firm in India, strengthening educational, research, industry, and social collaboration between Japan and India.

Despite possessing exceptional potential, many talented students and young researchers continue to face significant barriers:

Recognizing these challenges, the founding members established NexArc RISE to provide guidance, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities that help students and researchers achieve their academic and professional goals, while building long-term institutional relationships between Japan and India.

Limited access to information about international education
Lack of scholarship opportunities
Limited exposure to collaborative research
Insufficient mentoring and professional networks

LEADERSHIP PERSPECTIVES

Messages from Our Founder & Chairman

Personal reflections on our founding purpose, bilateral vision, and lasting commitment to nurturing borderless talent between Japan and India.

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

“My journey to Japan gave me an opportunity that changed my life. Through the support and guidance of many mentors, I was able to pursue both my Master’s and Doctoral studies at Nagoya Institute of Technology. Since then, I have continued my academic and professional journey through research and industry experience in Japan, gaining a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education and research.”

“At the same time, I have met many talented students in India who possess tremendous potential but often lack access to information about studying in Japan, scholarship opportunities, research pathways, Japanese language learning, and career opportunities. NexArc RISE was founded with the aspiration of helping these students overcome such barriers and pursue global opportunities with confidence.”

“Our mission extends beyond study abroad guidance. We strive to build meaningful connections between Japan and India through education, research, international exchange, talent development, and long-term academic collaboration. We believe that the support we once received should be passed on to the next generation. By empowering students, researchers, and young professionals, we hope to contribute to a future where talent is nurtured without geographical boundaries.”

“We look forward to working closely with educational institutions, researchers, industry partners, and students to further strengthen academic collaboration and international exchange between Japan and India.”
